دوستي پاراگرافي از كتاب ذن چيست رجينالد و بلاث، با اين مضمون نقل كرده بود:
((در جستجوی حقیقت نباشید، معتقدباشید. چیزی به نام حقیقت وجود ندارد؛ هنگامیکه از جستجوی آن دست می کشیم، تنها چیزی که می یابیم حالتی از تفکرو اشراق است که در ما زندگی می کند.))
من با اندك تأملات خُرد خود، هرچه كردم، نتوانستم با نفي وجود حقيقت همدل باشم. به عبارت ديگر براي همدلي، نياز به إثبات معرف بخش بودن (باور صادق موجه!) اين ادعا داشتم. البته اگر منظور نويسندگان از اين عبارت، شكلي شاعرانه براي توضيح نايابي حقيقت، به دليل كوتاهي دست ما متوسطان براي به چنگ آوردن آن خرماي درشت نشسته بر مرتفع ترين نقطه نخيل است، من هم هستم!!
تمام تاريخ انديشه مشحون از انديشمنداني است كه چون نديدن حقيقت، ره افسانه زدن، اما هنوز باور دارم از تضارب هگلي انديشه ها، حتي ما متوسطان هم به حقيقت دست خواهيم يافت! فقط كمي صبر و فراتر رفتن از چهارچوبهاي ديكته شده و ذهني باكره نياز است، از مولوي كه مي پرسي او با همان نهنگ صفتي مي گويد هر وطني آداب خود را دارد! نمي توان با قايق در خشكي حركت كرد و بالعكس!
به زعم من، جهان به يك ابركانت ديگر يا يك ابركلمب ديگر نياز دارد تا روزي بيايد و دست ما را بگيرد و ببرد و نشانمان بدهد كه بيشتر جهان حقيقت از آب تشكيل شده است و آن سوي اين دريا شهري است و براي سير آن، عقل، با همه نازنيني، ناكام است.
