دوستي در گروهي نامزدي را به قدرت طلبي محكوم كرد و با اين نيت خواني مدعي شده بود كه راي دادن به چينين شخصيتي موجه نيست! از اين كه اين اشكال، مغالطه انگيزه و انگيخته است كه بگذريم با تقويت شبهه و فرض اينكه حقيقتاً نامزدي به سوداي قدرت نيز به كارزار آمده باشد، به اختصار به اين خرافه خواهم پرداخت كه آيا قدرت طلبي رذيله جمعي نيز هست؟
برناردماندویل در كتاب افسانه زنبوران ذيل داستاني قاعده اي را با اين مفهوم كه رذائل فردي گاهي فضائل جمعي هستند و بلعكس! را نشان مي دهد! اتفاقاً انتظار زهد و بي تمايلي به قدرت از كسي كه قرار است براي آن بجنگد، انتظار واقعي نيست و تجربه نشان داده اينگونه آدمها خطرناكتر هم هستند! از اينچنيني داوطلباني اگر به قول مولوي از شيراني نباشند كه خداي هم نافريده است! نمي توان انتظاري داشت! چون افقي جاه طلبانه ندارند! اينجاست كه فضائل فردي رذائل جمعي مي شود!
اونقدر كه از نظامهاي مدرن و ساخته شده بر ساختار واقعي انسان، شبيه آنچه ماكياول مي گويد دريافته ام بايد اين شهوت و اشتهاي قدرت با تفكيك قوا، مطبوعات، نهادهاي اجتماعي و چيزهايي شبيه به اين كنترل و بر مسير صحيح هدايت شود!
