چهل‌وچهار سالگیت مبارک!
آن پیرمرد دست‌فروش آذری زبان را سال‌هاست که می‌شناسم.
از جمعه بازار که بر می‌گردم گاهی از او لواشک و برگه می‌خرم. اما این بار قیمت دادن دهه شصتی او از الزایمرش پرده بر‌می‌داشت. خانم مشتری دیگر نیز با زبان اشاره ضمن تصحیح قیمت‌ها، فراموشی او را تأیید می‌کرد. پیرمرد با آن حال نزار اما به شدت و به زحمت و با بدبینی که از او سراغ نداشتم رفتار مشتریانش را تعقیب می‌کرد!
آلزایمر شاید تورم همه این سالها و قیمت امروز اجناسش را از یاد او برده باشد اما از پس نگرانی او از دزدیده شدن کالاهایش که در ناخودآگاه فردی و شاید هم جمعی او رسوب کرده، بر نیامده بود.
هر برگه‌ای که از آن روز خورده‌ام به تلخی یادم انداخته حتی تلخی‌ها! دیرتر از شیرینی‌ها از یاد ما می‌روند و وای بر روزگار پیری ما! تلخی‌هایی که این روزها به دلیل سیطره شبکه‌های اجتماعی با شدت و حدت غیرقابل مقایسه در هفته‌ای به خورد روان ما می‌رود صدها بلکه هزاران برابر آن‌چیزی است که نسل این پیرمرد در همه عمر دیده‌اند!

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
